Who will be my contact person at KHZ?In the first (quotation) stage of your removal you will be assisted by an experienced Sales Coordinator. He or she will guide you during the entire quotation process and together with you a fully customized removal package will be compiled. After you granted KHZ the removal you will be assisted intensively by a specialized Operations Coordinator during the further progress of you move. He or she will be entirely informed about your situation, your requirements and specific (custom) formalities at destination.

Are all my possessions insured against damage that could occur during packing, transportation or storage?When you are moving within The Netherlands you removal is always insured up to maximum EURO 100.000,-. When you are making use of the storage facilities your possessions will remain insured for a duration of 30 days. Of course we can offer you a complementary insurance when you are making use of our storage facilities for a longer period. An international move however is not standard insured. In cooperation with quality partner in the area of insurances we can offer you an all risks insurance again very interesting conditions.

Is there a possibility that I can pack my own possessions?Of course there is, although we discourage this because of a few reasons. First of all experience shows us that the volume of your possessions will increase when you pack items yourself. This could result in a higher move price. Secondly the risk on damage will increased and insurance companies are not very eager to insure possessions packed by the owner. Last but not least the change on a full custom examination will increase when you pack yourself, which may lead to delays and additional costs.
